These were our celebratory drinks. What were were celebrating?
Our new house! Er, van. But it’s really a house… you just have to look at it from the right angle.
First things first, right? It’s a 2004 Chevy Express LS, 6.0L V8. Extended length, 47,000 miles. Cloth seats, cruise control, tilt wheel, no power anything (locks, windows). I know you want to know how much, so I’ll go ahead and tell you. $12,700. The grand total came to $14,300. Darn that CA sales tax.
The next step is to rip out all the interior panels and have the kind folks at Fiberine install a high top. We stopped by the shop this afternoon to take some measurements, and happened upon this fine piece of signage down the street. And they say our education system is broken. Bah, who wouldn’t appreciate an extra apostrophe once in a while?
“A threshold makes a promise.” Indeed, it does.
