There must be something wrong with me. What other female looks forward to spending time filling hollow cavities with foam in a can?
Work has picked up again, so I’ll be plenty busy this weekend, but if and when I have some time, I’m looking forward to filling Gypsy’s hollow channels with Great Stuff. Gypsy has quite a few hollow channels that are inaccessible enough that I won’t be able to stuff any sound deadening material or insulation sheets inside, and large enough that not filling them with insulation would probably result in a high percentage of heat loss. I’m hoping that Great Stuff Big Gap Filler will be easy to use and live up to its hype. To be honest, I haven’t had time to thoroughly research the various foam-in-a-can options, but this knowledgable fellow recommended it, so I’ll take his word for it.
Jef’s parents turned me on to Gojo pumice hand cleaner, so I grabbed a bottle today while perusing the aisles of one of my new haunts, The Home Depot. I love this stuff. It cleans amazingly well, plus it has this awesome fake cherry smell that only people who have been raised on Otter Pops, Welch’s sodas, and Skittles can appreciate. Oh, and Mr. Sketch markers. If you love these things, you’ll love this soap. I know, it’s a little disgusting… but so awesome at the same time.
