Nothing but crickets over here.
Design work has been steadily rolling in, so work on Gypsy has been on hold. But even if I wasn’t preoccupied with work, I’m in San Francisco. Everything I’ll need to start the next phase of work is sitting in my living room in southern CA. The bed liner was supposed to have met me here in San Francisco so I could apply it while Gypsy was parked in my parents’ driveway, but there was a slight hiccup in the ordering process… long story short, the bed liner will meet me in Glendale tomorrow.
That doesn’t mean, however, that anything interesting will happen any time soon. I’ve got a jam-packed schedule of working, driving, and running errands for the next two days, so the earliest that anything fun will happen will be Saturday. Gypsy patiently waits. She’s already embraced an easy-going, take-it-one-day-at-a-time attitude.
Unrelated, but kind of fun―Sake and I took a nice walk the other day to go turkey hunting (shooting photos, not bullets). I’d heard that there are wild turkeys running around Pinole but I’d never seen any before. (I usually just say San Francisco because no one knows where in the world Pinole is… it’s 20 minutes East of San Francisco.) As luck would have it, Sake and I ran into a whole rafter of turkeys, gobble-gobbling as they totally freaked out and ran away from us. I managed to snag one photo.
