It occurs to me that I have no idea what I’m doing. Pretty much every decision I’m making is based copying what others have done or heeding the advice of people who have bigger brains than me. I’ve decided that I’m okay with that.
I do, however, know how to design, model, and animate things in 3D. And, as far as I know, this is an original bed design. I’m a tad nervous about showing this to you all. You’re going to think I’m crazy. Eh, I think I’m okay with that, too.
As usual, no audio. The timing of the animation is pretty rough (as is the lighting and texturing), but it’s past 3 am, and I’m not about to lose any more sleep over it. Good enough.
The head area can be propped up for reading, the lower 2/3 can be folded and stowed, and the corners of the frame can be propped up to make the bed level. The pink blocks are attached to the van, and do not move. The green is all one layer, hinged where it’s necessary.
Constructive criticism is welcome.
