Trunk

So, what do you think of the new site? I think it’s a nice upgrade, save for one pesky detail—the most recent post on the home page displays as a summary instead of full text. Something will work itself out soon, but in the meantime you’ll have to deal with one extra click in order to read the whole article. You RSS and email subscribers are at an advantage here. Hooray for you!

This new theme comes with a million and one configurable doohickeys (apparently except for the one mentioned above) and I’m still playing with all the options so you can expect a fair amount of fooling around with fonts, colors, etc. for the next few days. At some point a photo gallery should materialize, as will better menus. Good things are on the horizon.

Good things are about to happen for Gypsy as well. Today I was able to install the faucet, line the “trunk” with vinyl, and finish a bunch of soldering. If everything goes as planned, Gypsy might actually have running water tomorrow. Tomorrow! Wow, that’s pretty exciting.
