In addition, a certain software programmer with arms of steel figured out how to fix the blog and get the most recent post to display in its entirety instead of an excerpt. A huge improvement, in my opinion. While I consider myself to be somewhat of a WordPress expert, I am most definitely not a programmer. In four hours of messing with code I’d gotten absolutely nowhere. Jef had it all done in less than an hour. Smartypants.

Gypsy is also seeing her share of minor improvements. Utilizing a pair of handy dandy nylon tie down straps and some framing angles, I secured the fresh water tank underneath the bed. It might be worth noting that framing angles are much cheaper than corner braces (L brackets) of comparable size. You can usually find them in hardware stores near the lumber (and nowhere near the corner braces). Framing angles are generally more flexible and lighter duty than corner braces, but I figure that if they hold houses together they’re probably sturdy enough for Gypsy, too.
If you’ve been following along, you might recall that I purchased two Edgestar 43 quart refrigerator/freezers. One will be used as a fridge, and the other as a freezer. It’s probably overkill but what can I say? Jef and I love food. One has already been secured to the wall. The other has been placed between the front seats, as it’s the only place in the entire van that had space available. With a pair of cam buckle tie downs, securing this one was easy peasy.
All minor improvements, but improvements nonetheless. Up next … screens? Curtains? Hmm …
