I don’t know why I’m so surprised that the electricity works inside Gypsy, but I am. I so completely expected that I would flip switches, and nothing would happen. I expected hours and hours of troubleshooting, remaking cables, taking things apart and putting them back together again. Surprisingly, there were no glitches (well, except for one). Who would have thought that this would all work?
Anyway, for those who are interested, here’s the final electrical diagram. Jef looked over my shoulder as I was working on this and said, “Why don’t you put all this together in a real electrical wiring diagram?”
Offended, I looked at him like he was an alien, “That’s exactly what I don’t want! Those things are too hard to read!”
Apparently he disagrees. He says that my diagram is much more difficult to understand, and too much like reality. It’s my right brain versus his left brain. But the right brain is writing the blag, so that’s what you’re getting.
