It’s getting increasingly difficult to write a coherent blog post these days. Generally speaking, I need complete silence to read or write anything containing any substance. And when was the last time I had complete silence? Oh, I’d say about a year ago. So, apologies if my sentences don’t make sense. One of these days, when I can finally escape the Pinole madness (taking care of a father with dementia while sharing a roof with my mother) and recharge my brain, maybe I’ll be able to think straight. Until then, I’ll try to take lots of pictures.
Inreda LED puck lights from Ikea:
The box labeled “LED Driver” indicates that the lights run on 12 volts. Since Gypsy’s system is a 12 volt system, I figured I’d try bypassing the LED Driver box, and connecting the wires directly to the 12 volt fuse block.
It worked!
I taped the lights up just to see how much light they’ll provide. They seem to light the cabin up nicely. Not too bright, not too dim. The color temperature is just about perfect—slightly warm, but not too much.
