Hi all, I just wanted to let you all know that I've decided to close the forum, which will happen in a few days. I appreciate those of you who used it and contributed to it, but it's used so infrequently that the work of maintaining it doesn't seem worth it. I may re-open it in the future if necessary. Thanks guys!

Hi hoboahle, Top top is by Fiberine in Wilmington, CA. They installed it.

It is a 30" top, but that only adds 30" down the center of the van. The sides are less because of the curved shape of the top. If you'd like to read more, here is the article I wrote about it.

Where did you get the add on top for your van? :)

Did you install it yourself or have professionals do it?

and lastly, how much height did it add?!

Thank you!!

Hi Chris,
We are sorry to hear you lost your dad.  After all you have shared with everyone, you feel a bit like a distant relative!

I think I'm going to screw my floor down and cover the bottom with rubberized undercoating.

Thanks for your patience, guys. I discovered that spammers had created hundreds of spam accounts, and I had to delete them manually. Let's see if the changes I made work. Sorry for the verification questions, they appear to be necessary.

Welcome, Karis! Glenn, of ToSimplify used to travel with a cat. Apparently it worked out fine for him. If I remember correctly, he did have to remove the passenger seat to make room for the litter box in one of his earlier rigs. Also, the peeps over at Gone with the Wynns travel with their two cats in a Class A RV.

Just saying hello. I'd like to buy a conversion van soon. Does anyone here travel with a cat? Is it difficult? I worry about the heat and leaving her alone in the van while I'm out.
